Identity

Identity, built on insight

Start a conversation

A brand is recognised long before it is understood. The logo, the colour, the tone of a headline and the feel of the packaging reach the customer first, and together they decide whether a business looks like the obvious choice or simply another option.

Our identity work starts with the market, not the mood board. We study the audience, the category and the competition, then design a system that is distinctive, consistent and simple to apply, from the first business card to the hundredth campaign.

How we work

From insight to identity

01

Discover

Stakeholder interviews, audience research and a review of competitors and category conventions to understand where the brand stands today.

02

Define

Positioning, personality and messaging agreed in writing, so every creative decision that follows has a clear brief to answer to.

03

Design

Identity concepts developed, tested against real applications and refined into a complete visual and verbal system.

04

Deploy

Guidelines, master files and templates handed over, with support as the identity rolls out across every touchpoint.

Who it is for

When identity work makes sense

  • You are launching a new business, product or sub-brand and want to start with a clear position.
  • The business has grown, but the brand still looks like the company you were five years ago.
  • Your materials look different on the website, on social and in print, and customers notice.
  • You are repositioning, merging or entering a new market and need the brand to say something new.
The outcome

A brand people recognise and trust

A coherent identity grounded in market insight: a clear position, a distinctive visual system and the guidelines to keep it consistent, so every touchpoint builds recognition rather than diluting it.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What is included in a brand identity project?

Most projects cover research and positioning, logo design, colour palette, typography, graphic elements, tone of voice and brand guidelines. We scope each engagement to what the business actually needs, so a start-up and an established company rebranding will receive different packages.

How long does a brand identity take?

A focused identity project typically runs four to eight weeks, depending on the depth of research, the number of concepts and how many applications need to be designed. We agree a timeline with clear milestones before work begins.

Do you only design logos?

No. A logo is one part of an identity. We design the full system around it, including colour, type, imagery direction and messaging, because that system is what makes a brand recognisable across every channel.

Can you refresh our existing brand rather than replace it?

Yes. If your brand has equity worth keeping, we can evolve it: modernising the logo, tightening the colour and type system and documenting it properly, without losing the recognition you have already built.
